(54) INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE The invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular, to engine-building, and can be used in devices for injecting water into a cylinder of an engine. Internal combustion engines are known that contain a nozzle for injecting water into the cylinder through a spray gun connected to a pump equipped with a drive mechanism and gas distribution means controlled by a camshaft via a pusher and a rocker arm 1. However, such an engine has increased toxicity. exhaust gases, since the moment of injection of water into the cylinder is not compatible with the valve timing. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the toxicity of exhaust gases by matching the moment of water injection into the cylinder with the engine timing. This goal is achieved due to the fact that the drive mechanism of the engine is articulated with the rocker arm of the gas distribution system by means of a connecting rod, and the spray gun is equipped with a number of nozzles better distribution of water injected into the cylinder. Figure 1 shows an example of engine performance; 2 shows an exemplary embodiment of a water injection nozzle; Fig. 3 shows an example of the implementation of spray nozzles. The engine (Fig. 1) contains an injector 1 for injecting water into the cylinder 2 through an atomizer 3 connected to a pump 4 equipped with an actuator mechanism 5, a pipeline 6 and a gas distribution means 7 controlled by a camshaft via a pusher 8 and a beam 9. The actuator mechanism 5 the pump 4 is articulated with the yoke 9 of the gas distribution means 7 by means of a connecting rod 10, and the atomizer 3 (Figures 2 and 3) is provided with a number of nozzles. 11 for better distribution of water injected into cylinder 2 (FIG. 1). When the engine is running, water enters the pump 4 and with each movement of the rocker arm 9 is fed to the sprayer 3. Water is injected into cylinder 2 synchronously with the start of the compression phase, which allows the cylinder temperature and the piston temperature to be kept below the critical value the temperature at which harmful nitrogen compounds are formed in significant amounts. Thus, coordinated injection of water into the cylinder with the valve timing, engine reduces exhaust emissions.

Claims (2) [1] Invention Formula 1, An internal combustion engine comprising a nozzle for injecting water into a cylinder through a nozzle connected to a pump equipped with a drive mechanism and gas distribution means controlled by a camshaft via a pusher and rocker, different from that in order to reduce the toxicity of exhaust gases by matching the timing of the injection of water into the cylinder. With the camshaft, the pump drive mechanism is articulated with the rocker arm of the cams using a connecting rod. [2] 2.
